Dear Friends and Supporters:

In response to growing concerns and guidance on mitigating the impact of COVID-19, Oregon Tradeswomen is postponing our annual Career Fair originally scheduled to be held on May 15 & 16 to Friday September 25 and Saturday September 26, 2020. We hope that by moving the event to the fall, we will be past self-quarantines and social distancing – and resuming as normal.

Registered schools will have their spaces held for the Friday, September 25 – School Day. We hope your students will be excited to participate in the event as they return to school in the fall. We also ask our school partners share the information with high school seniors and their parents so they may attend on Saturday, September 26, which is open to the public. We also encourage you to share resources (https://tradeswomen.net/resources/) with high school seniors who may be planning next steps post-graduation.

Thank you to our sponsors, vendors, exhibitors, volunteers, and many industry partners who help make this annual event a success. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we navigate these uncertain times together, and continue to find ways to serve our community, support job-seekers, meet industry needs, and celebrate the truly dynamic careers the skilled trades offer!

If your organization is not yet registered, our team is here to help! Please register as a sponsor or exhibitor:  or reach out directly to Lisa Palermo at: lisa@tradeswomen.net

Our thanks to NECA/IBEW Electrical Training Center and IBEW Local 48 who will host the event September 25 and 26, 2020. We couldn’t do it without you!

Oregon Tradeswomen is grateful for your continued support. Our annual Career Fair is the result of many partners coming together to illustrate the value of a career in the trades. We will get through the current challenge, and we will come back together in the fall to make this year’s Career Fair the best one yet!

With gratitude,
Oregon Tradeswomen
